MANILA, Philippines — A driver and his conductor discovered a sock containing US$3,000 inside their bus in Palawan and surrendered it to their company so the rightful owner can take it back.

In a Facebook post, the bus company said driver Sergio Gamuzaran and conductor Romnick Ponce de Leon found the sock inside the bus with license plate NBO 9927 last February 5 at around 10 p.m.

It added that the bus was from Puerto Princesa going to Rio Tuba, Bataraza.

The sock allegedly contained US$3,000 or more than P164,000, according to the bus company.

“Panawagan sa may-ari ng nawalan ng medyas na naglalaman ng pera na pumunta lamang sa aming opisina,” the Cherry Bus company said.
