P170,000 shabu seized in Albay buy-bust
LEGAZPI CITY — Authorities arrested a suspected drug personality and recovered P170,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in this city in Albay province on Saturday (Feb. 4).
Police Lieutenant Kharren Formales, Albay police spokesperson, said in a report that Noli Nasayao, 43, sold a knot-tied sachet of shabu weighing 25 grams to an undercover agent in Barangay (village) Bitano around 1:24 p.m.
The anti-narcotics team confiscated P500 as buy-bust money.
The suspect is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
