4 drug suspects busted in Cavite, P409,000 shabu seized

LUCENA CITY — Police arrested a suspected big-time illegal drugs trafficker and three street pushers in separate buy-bust operations in Cavite on Friday.

The operations resulted in the seizure of an estimated P409,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth).

Police Colonel Christopher Olazo, Cavite police chief, said that Dasmariñas City anti-narcotics agents nabbed Soroy Guinar, 26, at around 4:40 p.m. after he allegedly sold a pack of shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay San Simon.

Authorities found Guinar carrying three sachets of meth weighing 50 grams with an estimated value of P341,000.

The report classified Guinar as an “HVI” or high-value individual in the local drug scene. Police were tracking the source of his illegal drugs.

Meanwhile, the Bacoor City police also busted three alleged peddlers of shabu in Barangay San Nicolas 3 around 6:15 p.m.

The suspects, Jae-Jae Trias, Elizabeth Cabarle and Rodel Guevarra, all identified street-level drug pushers in the locality, yielded seven sachets of shabu worth around  P68,000.

All suspects are under police custody and will face a formal complaint for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
