2 alleged drug pushers nabbed in Marinduque town

CITY OF CALAPAN — Police arrested two men in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 24, in Gasan town in Marinduque province, according to a report from Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) police.

Police arrested at 1 p.m. Joel Amador Mendez, 42, and Marc Erwin Boco, 33, both fishermen and tagged as new “high value individuals” in the local drug scene after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) weighing about 0.7 grams valued at P2,000 to a poseur buyer in Barangay Bacongbacong.

Mendez of Barangay Banuyo in Gasan and Boco of Barangay Daykitin in Buenavista town are under police custody and will face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
