Rain-induced landslides hit Catanduanes
LIGAO CITY — Several roads in Catanduanes province remained impassable due to major landslides caused by the incessant rains on Friday.
In Bato town, landslide debris blocked the road in Oguis village.
Motorists also found it difficult to pass through the national highway at Barangay Puraran in Baras town due to a landslide.
Floodwater inundated parts of Mabini village in Panganiban town, prompting rescuers to evacuate residents using inflatable rubber boats.
