Cagayan de Oro Rep. Rufus Rodriguez pushed anew for a measure that would provide a magna carta for parole and probation workers, giving them more benefits to effectively carry out their vital role in helping prevent recidivism among former law offenders. In filing House Bill No. 6646, or proposed Magna Carta for Probation and Parole Workers, Rodriguez stressed the important role of the Parole and Probation Administration in assisting in the rehabilitation and adjustment to the community of probationers, parolees, persons granted pardon and juveniles in conflict with the law.
