Most of PH to be rainy on Friday — Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Continuous rain is still forecast over most parts of the country on Friday due to the effects of a low-pressure area (LPA) located east of Surigao del Sur, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
According to Pagasa, the LPA was last spotted 130 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. It has low chance of turning into a tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours.
(Due to the impact of the LPA, its effects will be more widespread, the entire Mimaropa, the entire Bicol Region, and Calabarzon will experience cloudy skies with rain, thunder, and lightning.)
