3 drug suspects yield over P22,000 ‘meth’ in Olongapo

Two alleged thieves were arrested in front of a bar along the national highway in Barangay Barretto here on Tuesday, Oct. 4, police said.

OLONGAPO CITY — Police in this city arrested three suspected drug traders who yielded more than P22,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) during the first week of the month.

In a report, the Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) said the suspects were held from Jan. 1 to 7 during a series of buy-bust operations in various villages.

At least 3.42 grams of shabu worth P22,315 were seized from the suspects, the OCPO said.

Police said two wanted persons were also arrested during the same period. INQ
