LUCENA CITY — An armed drug suspect was arrested Monday in a buy-bust operation in Ibaan town in Batangas province.
Anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Hubert Leuterio, 36, after he sold a sachet of shabu (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer in Barangay Sabang, the Batangas police reported Tuesday, Jan. 3.
The police seized from the suspect shabu worth P34,136 as per the Dangerous Drugs Board valuation.
Leuterio was also carrying an improvised shotgun with one bullet.
The suspect was placed under police custody and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and another case for illegal firearm possession.
