Man cracks ‘bomb’ joke, yields drugs during inspection in Davao
DAVAO CITY – For joking about a bomb in a bus, a man from Digos City in Davao del Sur was found carrying a small amount of crystal meth and is now facing charges.
Based on the report of the Toril Police Station, suspect Palm Jay S. Sansan, 22, of Loyola Subdivision, Digos City, Davao del Sur, joked about a bomb inside the bus he was riding in as it was entering the city on Monday.
The commotion he created led someone to alert the law enforcers, who immediately arrested him.
As the vehicle was being inspected, law enforcers also frisked him, leading to the discovery of a sachet that was believed to be containing shabu with a street value of P1,760 or some 250 mg.
Law enforcers have filed complaints for disseminating false information and for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
