LUCENA CITY – Police arrested four drug suspects early Thursday in separate operations in Cavite, Laguna and Quezon after they yielded more than P108,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth).

Operatives from the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Bacoor City police collared John Pajardo after he sold shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay Sineguelasan at around 1:50 a.m., the Region 4A police said in a report.

Pajardo yielded an estimated P68,000 worth of shabu.

In Biñan City, Laguna, police arrested Jose Santos in a drug sting in Barangay San Vicente at 12:40 a.m.

The suspect yielded six sachets of shabu worth around P19,500.

Meanwhile in Quezon province, Lt. Colonel Erickson Roranes, Lucena City police chief, reported the arrest of Jeffrey Balanial and Kurt Joshua Villanueva in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Ibabang Dupay at 1:50 a.m.

The police found the duo with five sachets of meth worth an estimated P21,420.

All suspects were detained at the local police jails and will face a formal complaint for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
