Motorcyclist dies after hitting electric post in Quezon province

LUCENA CITY — A 43-year-old motorcycle rider died Monday after his vehicle crashed into an electric post in San Antonio town in Quezon province.
Marcelo Calingasan was driving his motorcycle when he hit the electric post at the roadside in Barangay Buliran at 12:45 a.m., the Quezon police said in a report.
Calingasan was thrown from his vehicle and landed on the pavement while his head hit a concrete barrier.
He suffered serious injuries and died while being taken to the nearest hospital in neighboring Tiaong town. INQ
