11 drug suspects nabbed, shabu worth P156,000 seized in Mabalacat

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Pampanga (PDEA-Pampanga) agents arrested two suspected drug peddlers and nine of their companions in separate buy-bust operations Tuesday in Dau village in this city.
The operations resulted in the confiscation of shabu worth P165,000, a report said on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
Glenn Guillermo, PDEA-Region 3 public information officer, said the first operation conducted around 9:05 p.m. along Ilang-Ilang St. resulted in the arrest of Erhicka Hamm and his six companions.
Guillermo said PDEA seized from Hamm 13 grams of shabu placed inside five sachets with a street value of P88,000 and the marked peso bill used in the sting operation.
Several hundred meters away from the first operation, the agents arrested at 9:35 p.m. one Angelica Quiazon and her five companions.
Allegedly seized from her were 10 grams of suspected shabu and the marked peso bill used in the operation. Assorted drug paraphernalia were also confiscated.
Guillermo said they conducted the operations with the support of PDEA-Aurora operatives and the city police.
The arrested individuals were jailed in the PDEA3 facility in San Fernando City. Charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 against them were expected to be filed Wednesday.
