Zambales posts 1 new COVID-19 death, 6 new cases
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Another fatality related to COVID-19 was registered in this province as the number of active infections began to increase again, local data showed Sunday, Dec. 4.
The Provincial Health Office (PHO) said the latest fatality due to virus complications raised to 721 the province’s COVID-19 death toll.
Data from the PHO said the new COVID-19 death was the first in the province since Oct. 21.
The same data showed that six more patients were recorded from Dec. 3 to Dec. 4, bringing to 14 the province’s active COVID-19 cases.
Since 2020, the province has logged 12,539 COVID-19 cases. Of this figure, at least 11,804 had recovered. INQ
