Active COVID-19 cases in Zambales slightly up
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — The number of active COVID-19 cases in this province slightly increased after five new infections were registered, health data showed on Thursday, Dec. 1.
The Provincial Health Office (PHO) registered new COVID-19 cases in Iba, San Narciso, Palauig, and Candelaria towns.
The new infections brought to 12,528 the COVID-19 cases tallied in the province since 2020.
Seven of the 13 municipalities continued to register zero active cases as of Thursday, PHO noted.
The slight increase in new infections was noted after a downward trend in previous weeks and a drop in the positivity rate. INQ
