2 drug suspects nabbed, over P25,000 ‘shabu’ seized in Bicol
LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics agents arrested two suspected drug personalities and recovered more than P25,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate operations on Monday in the Bicol region.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said in a report Tuesday, Nov. 29, that Gerald Baeta, 26, was arrested around 4:45 p.m. in Barangay Laganac in Balatan town in Camarines Sur province.
Calubaquib said the authorities recovered two grams of shabu worth P13,600 from the suspect tagged as a street-level drug peddler.
In Labo town in Camarines Norte, “Loloy,” 63, was arrested at 11:10 a.m. in Barangay Malangcao-Basud.
Camarines Norte police confiscated 1.8 grams of shabu worth P12,240 from him.
