LUCENA CITY — Three drug suspects were arrested on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 28 and 29, in separate buy-bust operations in Sto. Tomas City in Batangas province, and yielded shabu (crystal meth) worth more than P1.1 million.
The Region 4A police reported that anti-illegal drugs operatives collared around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday Akrima Pagador in Barangay Poblacion 2.
Authorities confiscated 12 sachets of meth weighing 100 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P680,000 at P6,800 per gram.
Earlier, the same police group nabbed around 10:20 p.m. Leo Villanueva and his associate Rommelyn Afayart in another part of the village.
The suspects yielded six sachets of shabu weighing 25 grams with a DDB value of P442,000.
The police tagged Pagador and Villanueva as high-value individuals in the local drug scene. Afayart was classified as a street-level drug pusher.
The police were tracking the source of the illegal drugs.
The suspects are under police custody and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
