13 suspects yield over P70,000 meth, marijuana in Olongapo

OLONGAPO CITY — At least 13 alleged drug traders in this city were arrested after they yielded more than P70,000 worth of illegal drugs during a series of operations last week.
In a report on Monday, Nov. 28, the city police said they confiscated from Nov. 20 to 27 more than six grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P43,844 from the suspects.
Also seized from the suspects were 250 grams of marijuana worth P30,000.
The drug haul was the result of eight anti-narcotics operations, the police said.
During the same period, six most wanted persons were arrested in a series of operations. INQ
