BACOLOD CITY — A fire gobbled up 10 houses in Barangay Banago, Bacolod City, at 6:54 p.m. on Thursday, November 24.
The fire affected 14 families, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
Damage was pegged at P75,000.
Bacolod Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez visited the fire victims who were brought to a multi-purpose building in Purok Mahimulaton, Banago, to check on their situation.
The victims were given hot meals and folding beds by social workers.
