LEGAZPI CITY — Six suspected drug personalities, including two minors, were arrested Monday in anti-illegal drug operations in Albay and Camarines Sur provinces.
Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, reported that Philippe Joseph Papina, 36; Jonie Casimiro, 30; Philip Rodrigo, 24, and the two minors were arrested at 7:40 p.m. in Barangay Ilawod in Guinobatan town in Albay.
Authorities recovered a gram of shabu worth P6,800 from the suspects.
Calubaquib said Papina was the main subject of that operation.
The three suspects were placed under the custody of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Bicol, while the two minors were at the Guinobatan police and will be turned over to the social welfare office.
In Iriga City in Camarines Sur, Angelica Marasigan, 35, was arrested at 12:52 p.m. in Barangay La Purisima.
Colonel Julius Caesar Domingo, Camarines Sur police chief, said they recovered 15 grams of shabu worth P68,000, aluminum foil, plastic sachets, and other illegal drug tools from her house.
The suspects face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
