8 hurt in Bulacan fireworks explosion
STA. MARIA, Bulacan — Eight workers were injured during an explosion on Thursday, Nov. 3, inside a fireworks manufacturing site in this town.
Sta. Maria police chief Colonel Christian Alicod said the incident happened in Barangay Pulong Buhangin at 1 p.m.
All eight victims were taken to the Rogaciano Mercado Hospital, also in this town, for treatment of their injuries.
Alicod said one worker was in critical condition while the seven others were out of danger.
Investigators were still determining the cause of the explosion.
