CAMP GEN ALEJO S. SANTOS, Bulacan—At least P1.1 million worth of marijuana was seized from two suspects in Marilao town in this province early Friday, Oct. 28.

Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, identified the suspects as Pethuel Mizona of Bocaue town and Danica Moreno of Marilao.

They were arrested during a buy-bust operation at about 2 a.m., Arnedo said in a report.

Seized from them were 11.6 kilos of dried marijuana leaves worth P1,160,000.

Arnedo said 17 other drug suspects were arrested in simultaneous police operations in the province on Thursday.
