LUCENA CITY — Police arrested Sunday two alleged notorious drug traders and seized more than P74,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in buy-bust operations in Cavite and Quezon provinces.
The Cavite police reported that anti-illegal drug operatives in Dasmariñas City collared at 11:50 a.m. Valentino dela Cruz, an alleged member of a local drug syndicate after he sold a sachet of meth to an undercover cop in Barangay Luzviminda 2.
The suspect yielded two sachets of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P42,800.
In Quezon province, Dolores town police arrested Marvin Javier in Barangay Dagatan at 9:30 p.m.
The authorities confiscated two sachets of meth worth P31,280 as per DDB valuation.
The police said Javier is a street-level peddler of shabu and is on the local drug watchlist.
Both suspects were detained and will be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
