MANILA, Philippines — Several domestic flights were canceled on Thursday due to inclement weather brought about by Tropical Depression Obet, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced.
In an advisory, Miaa said the following flights were canceled for October 20:
Cebu Pacific
- 5J 504 Manila-Tuguegarao
- 5J 505 Tuguegarao-Manila
- 5J 506 Manila-Tuguegarao
- 5J 507 Tuguegarao-Manila
- 5J 196 Manila-Cauayan
- 5J 197 Cauayan-Manila
In its 11 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Obet is expected to bring light to moderate with a possibility of heavy rain showers in most parts of Northern Luzon, specifically the Cagayan province.
Pagasa said the tropical depression is seen to cross the extreme northern portion of mainland Luzon between Friday evening and Saturday morning. – Alyssa Joy Quevedo, trainee
