MANILA, Philippines — The Northern Police District (NPD) on Wednesday arrested two men tagged by authorities as “high-value” drug suspects and confiscated P12 million worth of marijuana in Caloocan City.
Citing a report from the NPD drug enforcement unit, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo confirmed the arrest of John Kenneth Hernay, 30, and Grant Gallano, 24, at a fast-food parking lot in Barangay 8.
The NCRPO said the arrested suspects will be facing complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Meanwhile, seized marijuana has been turned over to the forensic laboratory for further examination, the NCRPO added. – Trisha Manalaysay, trainee
