Classes suspended in some parts of Cagayan Valley due to Tropical Depression Maymay
TUGUEGARAO CITY — At least 13 areas in the Cagayan Valley region have suspended classes on Tuesday, Oct. 11, due to heavy rains spawned by Tropical Depression Maymay.
The regional disaster risk reduction and management council in Santa Teresita town in Cagayan canceled classes and work in government offices except for front-line workers.
School classes at all levels were also suspended in Aparri, Lal-lo, Buguey, Camalaniugan, Gattaran, Sanchez Mira, Claveria, and Allacapan towns in Cagayan.
Preschool to senior high school classes were suspended in Ballesteros, and Gonzaga, both in Cagayan.
Nursery and Kindergarten classes were also suspended in Alcala town, while preschool to senior high school classes were suspended in Pamplona.
