Investigators said the victims were traveling in a convoy aboard three motorcycles and a Honda sedan along the Marcos Highway at  9:20 p.m.

Suddenly, the gunmen aboard three motorcycles cut the convoy at Sitio (sub-village) Cabading in Barangay Inarawan and repeatedly fired at the victims, killing three of them on the spot.

After the shooting, the gunmen fled toward Baras town.

The report did not provide personal details about the victims although it claimed that the family of the victims is involved in “land dispute-related incidents.”

“The Antipolo police [are] still investigating land disputes as a possible motive,” the report said.

Rizal police chief Col. Dominic Baccay ordered the Antipolo police to conduct a thorough investigation to unmask and arrest the killers. INQ
