Quezon logs fewer COVID-19 cases in September
LUCENA CITY – The province of Quezon recorded 334 COVID-19 cases last month, down from 518 in August, recent local data showed.
From 136 at the start of last month, the active cases dropped to 80 on Sept. 30, according to the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) showed.
The number of active infections further dropped to 75 on Sept. 20 but rose to 110 six days later.
According to the IPHO, four COVID-19 fatalities were recorded in September and 17 in August.
This month, the IPHO listed 33 new COVID-19 cases and 12 recoveries in the first two days.
