11 outstanding women in nation’s service named

The TOWNS Foundation on Thursday announced the 11 women who were named The Outstanding Women in Nation’s Service (TOWNS) for 2022. The awardees were Ani Rosa Almario (education and entrepreneurship), Rubilen Amit (sports), Dr. Pia Bagamasbad (molecular biology), Dr. Beverly Lorraine Ho (medicine/public health), Dr. Erika Fille Legara (data science), Keisha Alena Mayuga (transport planning), Ana Patricia Non (community service), Anna Oposa-del Rosario (marine ecology conservation), Pia Ranada (investigative journalism), Georgina Romero (women empowerment through ICT) and Dr. Aletta Yñiguez (marine science). —ANGEL YABUT
