Farmer gunned down in Quezon province

A shooting inside a shopping center in Sweden leaves a man injured and a woman in serious condition shot dead taguig

LUCENA CITY — A 57-year-old farmer was shot and killed Wednesday by a motorcycle-riding gunman in San Francisco town in Quezon province.

San Francisco police reported on Thursday, September 8, that Edison Dignos of Barangay Pugon, was walking around 6 a.m. towards his farm, when the assailant appeared and shot him with a handgun.

The gunman sped off after the shooting.

Dignos was taken to the San Francisco Municipal Hospital in the town center but died on the way.
