Cop gunned down in Sorsogon

LEGAZPI CITY — A police officer died on Monday in Pilar town in Sorsogon province.
Sorsogon police reported on Tuesday, September 6, that Executive Master Sergeant Israel Rebosura, 48, was on his way home around 5:45 p.m. on a motorcycle, when gunmen shot and killed him in Barangay Ginablan.

Rebosura, assigned at the Pilar police station, tried to fire back but was hit and died in a ravine, police said.
