LUCENA CITY — A motorcycle rider died early Friday after his vehicle collided with a car in Tagaytay City.
The Calabarzon police said Gary Alegre was driving his motorcycle when he collided around 3 a.m. with a Toyota Corolla driven by Kristofil Pescones at a section of the Tagaytay-Nasugbu highway in Barangay Maharlika West.
Alegre died while being taken to the Ospital ng Tagaytay.
The police said the motorcycle was negotiating a curved section of the highway when the vehicle swerved to the opposite lane resulting in a collision with an oncoming car.
Investigators said the victim was driving under the influence of liquor. INQ
