MANILA, Philippines — Three people were killed in a shooting incident in Taguig City by an unidentified gunman on Sunday morning.
According to a police report from the Taguig City Police Station, the shooting occurred at 3:20 a.m. inside a transient house in Barangay Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The victims were then identified as Marie Angelica Belina, 25, an overseas Filipino worker; Mark Ian Desquitado, 35, a Grab driver; and Tashane Joshua Branzuela, 22, a student.
Police said responding officers rushed Branzuela to the Taguig Pateros District Hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival by an attending physician at 3:45 a.m.
Initial investigations revealed that a witness was inside the transient house before they heard a burst of gunfire outside. They then saw the bodies of the victims slumped on the ground with Belina seen inside the gate with gunshot wounds on her body that resulted in her instant death.
The suspect who remains at large is currently unidentified but was determined to be male.
