2 more die of COVID-19 in Angeles City
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga—Two more patients died on Tuesday, August 16, of COVID-19 complications in Angeles City as its active cases remained above 100, data from the city health office showed.
The city government registered 12 new cases and 16 recoveries on the same day, bringing the active infections to 113.
The fatalities were residents of Cutcut and Santa Teresita villages.
Since the pandemic started in 2020, the Angeles City health office has recorded 15,323 COVID-19 cases. At least 14,660 of these had recovered, while 550 had died. INQ
