Pampanga’s active COVID-19 cases breach 500-mark

Pampanga logs 51 new COVID-19 cases

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga—The number of active COVID-19 cases in this province rose to 565 on Sunday, July 31, from 423 a week ago, the latest data from the provincial epidemiology and surveillance unit showed.

In its bulletin, the provincial government said all its localities—two component cities and 19 municipalities—now have COVID-19 cases.
From July 25 to July 31, Pampanga registered 136 new cases and four deaths.

The capital city of San Fernando had the most active cases at 251, followed by Mabalacat City (41) and Floridablanca town (40).

Pampanga has registered 58,451 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in 2020. Of these, 55,272 had recovered, while 2,614 had died.

This province and the rest of Central Luzon are under Alert Level 1 until August 15. INQ
