Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla is planning to enlist international criminal justice expert Dr. Raymund Narag to head the agency’s Parole and Probation Administration.

Remulla has been consulting with Narag regarding jail decongestion and about the life and culture of jail inmates, and they have agreed to introduce reforms in the Philippine corrections system, according to Department of Justice (DOJ) spokesperson Mico Clavano.
