Localized thunderstorms flood some roads in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Localized thunderstorms hit Metro Manila on Thursday, causing some minor flooding on a few roads in Manila.

The local government of Manila reported Taft Pedro Gil LRT Station and Nakpil Street were inundated to the gutters.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issued a thunderstorm advisory to Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite and Rizal, at around 3:55 pm. The said areas will have rain for the next 2-3 hours.
