Cops nab beautician for illegal drug activities in Iloilo

Police arrested a beautician and seized about P700,000 worth of illegal drugs in an operation in Sitio Matawhay, Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro town, Iloilo City on Friday.

ILOILO CITY — Police arrested a beautician and seized about P700,000 worth of illegal drugs in an operation in Sitio Matawhay, Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro town, Iloilo City on Friday.

Police said suspect Jonel Hulipa, 38, did not resist arrest.

Hulipa was considered a “high-value” individual and was monitored by authorities, said  Pol. Lt. Col. Antonio Benitez, Jr., officer-in-charge of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit.
