MANILA, Philippines — More than 50 percent of examinees passed the licensure examination for primary and high school teachers, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday.
The PRC, in a statement, said that 8,667 out of 17,149 examinees for the elementary level (50.54 percent) and 10,193 out of 20,191 examinees for the secondary or high school level (50.48 percent) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
The LET was conducted last June 26 in 19 testing centers nationwide.
