MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Thursday visited the wake of former president Fidel V. Ramos.
Marcos Jr. arrived at the Heritage Park in Taguig City, at around 10:30 a.m.

He was accompanied by Executive Secretary Vic Rodriguez and Special Assistant to the President Anton Lagdameo.
The former president will be accorded a state funeral with full military honors, Malacañang earlier said.
Ramos, who served as the Philippines’ 12th president from 1992 to 1998, died at the age of 94.
Marcos Jr. has declared a 10-day period of national mourning for the death of Ramos.
The former president’s wake will be from August 4 to 8. His remains will be interred at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on August 9.
