2 drug suspects nabbed in Bicol buy-busts

LEGAZPI CITY—A high-value drug personality and a drug peddler were arrested in separate buy-bust operations Wednesday in Camarines Sur and Catanduanes provinces, a report said Thursday, August 4.
In Pili town in Camarines Sur, Richard Danao, 38, was arrested at 5:07 p.m. in Barangay Tagbong.
Camarines Sur police said authorities recovered a sachet of shabu (crystal meth) worth P500, a loaded caliber 22 gun, and another five sachets of shabu.
In Pandan town in Catanduanes, Jayson Aguinaldo was also arrested at 6:29 a.m. in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Balagñonan.
Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said anti-drug operatives recovered seven sachets or 50 grams of shabu worth about P340,000.
Aguinaldo was tagged as a regional target and on the illegal drugs watch list in the region.
