Six nabbed, more than P150,000 worth of ‘shabu’ seized in Camarines Sur

6 nabbed, P150K worth of shabu seized in Camarines Sur

LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested six drug suspects and seized more than P150,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, July 19, in Pili town in Camarines Sur province, police said Wednesday.

Camarines Sur police said the suspects Apple Jean Azuela, Rene Alba, David Pereabras, Richard Ociana, Rey Solano, and Ruel Mojico were arrested in Barangay (village) San Agustin at around 4 p.m.

Authorities recovered a sachet of shabu worth P150,000 and another sachet of the drug from Azuela, the main subject of operation. During the body search, they also recovered four more sachets of shabu from the other suspects.

The suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
