LUCENA CITY—Four alleged drug pushers arrested in separate operations Monday in Batangas and Rizal provinces yielded more than P258,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth).
The Police Regional Office 4-A reported on Tuesday, August 2, that anti-narcotics agents in Cardona, Rizal collared at 11:35 p.m. Reynalet Tumibay, Harold Cruz, and Menard Arriola in Barangay Iglesia.
The three possessed seven sachets of meth weighing 23 grams with a Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of about P156,400.
In Sto. Tomas City, Batangas, police drug enforcers busted Elmer Galido at 5:55 p.m. in Barangay Poblacion 3.
The authorities seized five sachets of meth weighing 15 grams with a DBB value of P102,000.
In this city, two brothers were arrested for alleged drug pushing.
Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Reyes, Lucena police chief, reported that Mark Angelo Merjudio and his sibling David Emmanuel, were nabbed at 7:20 a.m. in Barangay 4. Seized from them were six sachets of meth worth P28,560 in the street market.
The suspects were detained and face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
