3 drug suspects arrested in Rizal with P204K shabu

LUCENA CITY — Three alleged peddlers of shabu (crystal meth) were busted and yielded P204,000 worth of illegal drugs early Sunday, June 19, in Antipolo City and Rodriguez town in Rizal province.

Alfred Villaruel and Lisa Gamas were collared by anti-illegal drugs operatives in a buy-bust operation around 4:15 a.m. in Barangay (village) San Jose in Rodriguez, the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) police report said.

The duo was found carrying six plastic sachets of meth weighing 15 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P102,000.

Antipolo police drug enforcement unit also nabbed Regalado Salvador around 3:05 a.m. in another sting operation in Barangay Mayamot.

The suspect also yielded six sachets of shabu with a DDB value of P102,000.

The police are conducting continuous investigations to determine the source of the illegal drugs being distributed by the suspects.

The suspects were detained and are facing charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
