MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court prohibited the use of the high court’s official seal in nonofficial court vehicles and violators will held in indirect contempt of court without prejudice to additional criminal or administrative charges.

In its resolution dated July 5, the Supreme Court enjoined privately owned vehicles and nonofficial court vehicles from displaying license plates, car stickers and similar items that bear the Supreme Court seal or any indication of connection with the judiciary, without authorization from the court.
