PAGASA weather update. STORY: LPA off eastern Luzon dissipates; fair weather across PH

MANILA, Philippines — The low pressure area last spotted off eastern Luzon has already dissipated, giving fair weather all across the country on Wednesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Despite the absence of an LPA, Pagasa said the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect parts of the country.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to have fair weather with chances of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

“Expect general warm and humid weather in most parts of the country. If there will be rainfall with lightning and thunder, it will be caused by localized thunderstorms. It will from one to two hours,” Pagasa weather specialist Chris Perez said in Fililipino.

Pagasa did not raise any gale warnings nationwide.
