MANILA, Philippines — Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo on Saturday said he and other justices will be attending President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s state of the nation address (Sona) on Monday.
“We received the invitation,” Gesmundo told reporters. “I will attend in person with some justices.”
Gesmundo did not mention the name of the justices.
“We will have PCR test later this afternoon and antigen test Monday morning to comply with the requirements,” he said.
Gesmundo and the justices are among the 1,365 guests who were invited to attend Marcos’ Sona which will be held at the Batasang Pambansa Complex.
