MANILA, Philippines — Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte on Friday went to Bohol province to visit the schools ravaged by Typhoon Odette last year.

Duterte said she had a dialogue with teachers and employees of the Clarin National School of Fisheries about the needs of the schools and teachers.

“Bumisita po tayo ngayong araw sa Bohol upang personal na makita ang mga paaralan na sinalanta ng Bagyong Odette noong nakaraang taon,” she said in a statement.

(We visited Bohol today to personally see the schools hit by Typhoon Odette last year.)

“Maraming salamat sa mga guro at empleyado ng Clarin National School of Fisheries sa oras na inilaan niyo para makausap kayo tungkol sa mga pangangailangan ng bawat paaralan at mga guro,” Duterte added.

According to the schedule sent by the Office of the Vice President, Duterte was also set to meet with the local government unit of Bohol and other sectors.
