Admin aide dies after falling from building inside Malacañang
MANILA, Philippines — An administrative aide died Thursday morning after falling from a building inside the Malacañang compound, the Palace announced.
Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles said Mario Castro, an administrative aide of the Information Communications and Technology Office under the Deputy Secretary for Finance and Accounting, fell from the fourth floor of the Mabini Hall.
Mabini Hall is located inside the Malacanang compound in Manila.

“Kasalukuyang ini-imbestiga ang kanyang pagkamatay at nagco-coordinate ang Presidential Security Group at ang PNP (Philippine National Police)-Security Force Unit,” Cruz-Angeles said in a press briefing.
(His death is currently being investigated, and the Presidential Security Group and the PNP-Security Force Unit are coordinating regarding the incident.)
Cruz-Angeles said the Palace extends its condolences to Castro’s bereaved family.
