Pasay City drug sting nets seven ‘high-value’ suspects
MANILA, Philippines — Police have arrested seven people tagged as “high-value drug suspects” during a buy-bust operation in Pasay City. Police also seized crystal meth, locally known as “shabu,” worth P149,600 in the operation.
Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg said in a statement Thursday that suspects Reynaldo Blacer Gomez, Ener Ragay Dominguez, Romeo Toepe Cortez, Denver Donggon Dominguez, Joseph Cabidog Tablada, Marjohn Abenojar Guinto, and Orly Manalo Donggon were collared on Wednesday night in Barangay 127.
Operatives likewise confiscated 14 heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu, P500 worth of buy-bust money, and one coin purse from the suspects.
Macaraeg said the suspects were being detained at the SPD District Drug Enforcement Unit office while charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2022 are being readied against them.
